Teachers’ Teammates is a nonprofit organization that solicits, collects, and distributes donated school supplies so educators in under-resourced schools in Delaware County can have the tools they need to help their students thrive. They serve 84 public, charter, and parochial schools within seven school districts (Chester-Upland, Chichester, Interboro, Ridley, SEDelco, Upper Darby and William Penn). Three thousand educators can access the resources they collect on their behalf and approximately 40,000 students.

Built by former educators and parents, Teachers’ Teammates recognizes teachers must reach into their own wallets far too often to fill basic classroom needs. They connect teachers with free or significantly low-cost supplies to help close the resource gap and provide year-round support.

Teachers’ Teammates provide an easy avenue for businesses and the community to donate new and like-new goods that can be re-purposed by teachers and students. Donations reduce waste and demonstrate good stewardship of resources and investment in children. They are proud to bring together the many segments of the community to sustainably support teachers. Individuals and organizations extend their appreciation to the teachers and students in the most under-resourced districts by donating $40 gift memberships and conducting supply drives year-round.
